Sitting on Kebabs
This stool is inspired by veggie kebabs. If you like corn, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchinis, or onions, then looking at this stool makes you hungry :)
16" x 14" made of cherry wood.
Cutting and Grilling
I began this stool with a proportional drawing to better understand how to construct it. The legs were turned on a lathe and then hand carved to create more organic shapes resembling different vegetables. The corn was detailed using pyrography to capture its texture. The top of the seat has grooves cut with a multi router to give the appearance of a grill.
